Description:

Treatment services are individualized, with different types and intensities of treatment approaches, according to the specific needs, strengths, abilities, and preferences of the person served. Group and individual therapy sessions are provided throughout the treatment stay. Educational groups are provided daily to address health and safety, recreation, living skills, finances, relationships, family systems, decision-making skills, nutrition, etc. Random urine screenings are conducted. Comprehensive case management services are provided while in treatment. Transportation services are made available. Room, board and supervision are provided. Employment readiness services are provided. All persons served will be introduced to the 12 step program and philosophy model.

24 Hours A Day/7 Days A Week

Intake Process:

All applicants are screened by the clinical staff. Upon admission the person is oriented to the program by a peer. The person is introduced to their counselor who completes all the admission paperwork. The person is shown his room and all admissions are required to wash all belongings before taking them to their rooms. This must be done on premises.

Eligibility:

Homeless by HUD definition; 18+ years of age (males and females). Homeless with co-occuring disorders, Level IV funded. Meet DCF Level 111 residential criteria. We are not a 'point of entry' those individual seeking treatment must be referred by a professional or agency. Can not accept individuals exhibiting sub-average intellectual functioning that prohibits them from participating in the program. Can not accept individuals with a medical or behavioral condition beyond the safe management capabilities of the program. Can not accept individuals under the age of 18. Can not accept convicted sex offenders, violent offenders, individuals with mental health problems that are not stabilized on medications and individuals who are.
